Police raid nets drugs, cash

More drugs have been removed from Timmins streets, the result of a bust last Wednesday by city police.

When drug enforcement and emergency response officers raided a home on Commercial Avenue, they came out with five quantities of drugs, including two kinds of fentanyl.  They also seized just over $3,000 cash.

A 46-year-old Timmins woman and 25-year-old Mississauga man are up on charges.  The woman has an October court date.  The man is being held without bail.

SEIZED ITEMS

– two tin foils each containing 0.1 gram (a point) of suspected Fentanyl.

– 10 Methamphetamine tablets

– a small plastic bag with 0.1 grams of Purp (Fentanyl).

– a small plastic bag with 1 gram of Crack Cocaine.

– 60 Hydromorphone tablets

– $615.00 in Canadian Currency.

– $2391.00 Canadian Currency (separate bundle)

– various mobile phones
