About 100 people to help in search of Ryan Beaudoin on Saturday

About 100 people are expected to gather in Cochrane on Saturday morning to help in the ground search of a missing resident. Ryan Beaudoin has not been seen since he left his home a week ago. Ryan’s father Andre Beaudoin can’t believe how everyone has come together to help.

“Family that I haven’t seen in 20 or 30 years are all coming together like several cousins that I haven’t spoke to,” he said. “The community is so tight and I just can’t believe it. I have so much respect for the town of Cochrane it’s overwhelming.”

Andre says the group will meet around 9 am at 290 Highway 11 south and then head over to Detour Lake Road.

“We will start at a relative’s house,” he said. “From there we will stage five or 10 minutes from where Ryan was last scene and do roughly 20 or 30 kilometre stretch both Saturday and Sunday.”

ATVs, canoes, kayaks and drones are needed to help out in the search. A collection of water and food is also being done to assist volunteers.
