No collisions to report, however:
- Third Avenue from Spruce Street S to Balsam Street S will be closed between 7:30am & 5pm every Thursday from July 9th to September 24th for the Downtown Timmins BIA to hold their Urban Park/Farmer’s Market. The intersections at Spruce, Pine, Cedar and Balsam streets will remain open. The Urban Park/Farmer’s Market is open from 11am-3pm every Thursday
- Laforest Road from Airport Road to Highway 655 will be reduced to a single lane during the day and opened back to two lanes at night, due to paving work. Please proceed with caution
- Pine Street S from Second Avenue to Third Avenue is closed for Road Maintenance. Emergency Vehicles only if access needed. Please use alternate route. Will be an on-going closure for at least 30 days
- College Street from Airport Road to Westmount Boulevard is closed, due to a collapsed manhole cover. The road is closed until further notice. Local and emergency traffic only from either end of college. Work area will be in the middle of the block. NO through traffic
- Birch Street S at Third Avenue intersection is closed for main sewer system repairs until further notice. Local traffic and Emergency can access to this intersection, from Maple, Algonquin, Balsam, or Second, but the intersection has NO through traffic. Sidewalks are open
- Preston Street is closed from Wilson Ave to Belanger Ave, due to road maintenance
