No collisions, however there are some road closures to mention:
- Pine Street South is closed from Kimberley Avenue to Dale Avenue, due to construction. Pine Street South WILL be open to 1 lane in the evening with the need to yield to oncoming traffic.
- Montgomery Avenue from Wilcox Street to Mountjoy Street S, due to construction
- Shamrock Avenue from Main Street to Crawford Street, due to construction
- Gervais Street N at Falcon Street to Bellemare Street, due to road maintenance
- Power Avenue from Philip Street to Christine Street for sewer repair work
- Preston Street from Wende Avenue to Montgomery Avenue for road work
A Special Weather Statement is in effect for Timmins, Cochrane and Iroquois Falls. Significant rainfall possible over parts of northeastern Ontario tonight through Tuesday night. Rain is expected to begin today over areas to the east of Lake Superior and spread to the east and northeast tonight. General rainfall amounts of 30 to 40 mm are likely in a swath from north of Sault Ste. Marie to Timmins. Localized higher amounts could reach 60 mm by Wednesday morning. For more details, click here.
