Timmins Ward 5 Councillor Michelle Boileau and her husband Andy are now parents.
At the beginning of Tuesday night’s regular meeting, Mayor George Pirie announced that the rookie councillor has given birth to a 6lb. 15 oz. girl.
He said Coun. Boileau will be on maternity leave from her council duties until October.
