In 2014, 17, 000 homes started using food banks.
Now, Timmins High is doing their part to help out. Students and teachers will be going door to door on Thursday morning to collect non-perishables.
They’ll be going through wards one and five, with donations going to the Timmins and the First Baptist Church Food Banks.
