A regional construction supply company is helping the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation’s COVID-19 support fund by matching donations all during the month of May.
Foundation donor relations manager Barb McCormick says OCP Construction Supplies will match dollar for dollar, up to $25,000.
“Anyone can go to our website, which is tadhfoundation.com and there is a donate button that is linked to our secure donation site,” McCormick states. “The money will be going towards our COVID support fund, which we’ll use to purchase personal protective equipment and/or specialized equipment relating to COVID-19.”
Any money left in the fund once the pandemic has passed will be used for the foundation’s usual work of equipping TADH.
OCP is doing the same thing for the hospitals in North Bay, Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie.
