A Snowfall Warning has been issued for Timmins, Cochrane, and Iroquois Falls for Thursday-Friday (March 19-20th):

“Significant snowfall this evening into Friday. Snow will begin this afternoon, becoming heavy this evening. Snow will continue into Friday before tapering off Friday afternoon. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm are expected by Friday afternoon. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. The City of Timmins Winter Parking By-Law is now in effect. From November 1st, 2019 to April 30th, 2020, vehicles may not park on the streets overnight, from 11:30pm to 7:30am. Cars can park overnight in areas with signage that reads “Parking Permitted Unless Otherwise Posted”. Towing will occur anytime an illegally parked vehicle interferes with winter operations, like snow plowing. More details about the Winter Parking By-Law can be found here.
