Significant snowfall likely today into Friday night. Periods of snow will begin today and become heavier tonight before tapering to flurries Friday night. Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are likely by Friday night. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult and visibility may be suddenly reduced in heavy snow and blowing snow.

Thursday, March 12th, starting at 9:30 PM:

  • No snow removal scheduled

Please note, this schedule is subject to change, due to weather/mechanical-related issues.

The City of Timmins Winter Parking By-Law is now in effect. From November 1st, 2019 to April 30th, 2020, vehicles may not park on the streets overnight, from 11:30pm to 7:30am. Cars can park overnight in areas with signage that reads “Parking Permitted Unless Otherwise Posted”. Towing will occur anytime an illegally parked vehicle interferes with winter operations, like snow plowing. More details about the Winter Parking By-Law can be found here.
