The Timmins Police is looking for a dark green Ford Explorer.
The driver of the SUV was involved in a hit and run last week on Algonquin near Brunette Road. It rear ended another car, and although the driver did get out to assess the damage, they quickly took off after.
A TPS CCTV camera shows the plates may start in BP, although the image is fuzzy.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police.
