ONTC and Union reach tentative agreement

A more sustainable future is on the way for Ontario Northland. The company and the union reached a tentative deal on a five year contract. Details of the agreement haven’t been released yet, but they are expected to be presented at ratification meetings over the next few weeks. The union represents 100 employees in a variety of positions, including rail traffic control and train operations. Interim President Corina Moore says the deal will provide stability for both ONTC and its workers.
