An arrest warrant is out for a woman wanted in that stabbing in downtown Timmins yesterday afternoon.
A 31-year-old man went to the Shoppers Simply Pharmacy at the corner of Birch and Third at about 5:00pm. As police put it, he “had sustained a significant edged weapon injury” to the abdomen.
Investigation shows that the pair know each other, and an argument at a Birch Street South home turned violent.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance. He was in stable condition today.
