A 23-year-old Québec man was taken to Timmins and District Hospital early this morning, after being shot at a home on Way Avenue in the city.
Police are saying little about it, other than the victim and alleged shooter are known to each other, and there is no concern for public safety.
A news release adds that “the (attempted murder) investigation is proceeding at a healthy pace and is being managed by senior members of the Criminal Investigations Division”. The forensic identification unit is also involved.
They’re also welcoming any relevant information from anyone.
