News More Ring of Fire news SHARE ON: Rocco Frangione, contributor, Tuesday, Mar. 3rd, 2015 Later this week, many people at the annual Prospectors and Developers Association meeting in Toronto will hear about a Ring of Fire development. As Moose News reported on Monday, the head of a remote First Nation near the chromite discovery is pitching a rail line. Grand Chief Lawrence Martin of the Mushkegowuk First Nation is suggesting a link from Mooseonee to the Ring of Fire. Martin says funding would be available through TGR Rail Canada of Toronto. While in Toronto this week, Martin will also discuss his proposal with the minister of northern development. One of the major hang-ups for the Ring of Fire has been building a road or rail line to the site and where the link begins.
