No collisions to report, however:
- The Great Canadian Kayak Challenge and Festival is on ALL WEEKEND! Roads will be busier than normal along the Participark section of Riverside Drive, and the streets surrounding the park. A shuttle bus service will be operating all weekend to take you to the park, and that schedule can be found HERE!
- The Urban Park Market is back! From 9am-4pm, Third Avenue between Cedar St. and Spruce St. is CLOSED. This is the second last week of the Urban Park, which is every Wednesday-Friday, from 10am-3pm the rest of the summer! Don’t forget about Tunes at Noon today!
- The Northbound lanes of Shirley are closed for curb work. The right lane Eastbound, and the turning lane Westbound are CLOSED.
- Both left turning lanes and the East and Westbound center lanes on Highway 101 at Bristol Road are closed for the curb work until Friday, August 30, 2019
- Traffic has been reduced to 1-lane in each direction on the Rae Hill-area of Highway 101 for roadwork, which could cause delays, due to congestion. The road work is expected to last until the end of August
