Drugs, cash, weapons picked up in police raids

Police drug raids on three Timmins homes late yesterday afternoon led to the seizure of what police call “a significant quantity” of purple fentanyl, some methamphetamine, cocaine, cash, two weapons and some drug paraphernalia.

The raids were on Birch Street South, Elm South and Evans Street in South Porcupine.

Ten people are facing a long list of charges.  There are six men and four women.  Seven of them are from Timmins; the rest from the Toronto area.
