The advice comes on the heels of the current Crime Prevention campaign by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police. Timmins police spokeswoman Kate Cantin says there have been many reports of on-line theft and frauds. But she says people can protect themselves with things like never giving out personal information over the phone and don’t leave your car running with no one in it.
