The Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat is looking to become the first polar bear facility to have a natural lake. Other habitats have created man-made lakes, but so far, none have a natural one. Manager of the Polar Bear Habitat, Karen Cummings, says this will be the biggest one in the world.

Cummings says this is good for both the bears and the researchers.

The habitat has signed up for an Indie Go Go page to help fund the project. Their fundraising goal is $250,000. CLICK HERE for the Indie Go Go link to help support the project.
