Let the speculation begin about the political future of rookie Ward 5 city councillor Michelle Boileau.
She has a “political announcement” scheduled for late Tuesday afternoon.

Asked whether she’ll take a leave of absence from council to run in the federal election, spokesman Michel Mainville will only say that that decision is Boileau’s to make. He goes on to say that she must first be selected as a candidate before even considering leaving council, and is evaluating her options.
