The annual Torchlight Parade is tonight in Cochrane. It is the closing event to their Winter Carnival, which has been running since Friday. The plan is to start the parade at dusk at the intersection of 14th and 5th. You can also start at the Fire Hall. The OPP is reminding everyone to be safe while carrying your torch, and to hand them off to firefighters at the bonfire. The weather is expected to be in the minus 30 range, so make sure you are dressed in layers.
