News Hospital donation helps keep staff safe SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Wednesday, Feb. 11th, 2015 The most recent donation to the Timmins Hospital will be helping workers stay safe. The $100K from Scotiabank is going into the Patient Safe Handling Program. Patient Handling means using special equipment to safely move patients, while lowering the physical demand. The risk of injury to both patients and employees is lower when the techniques are used. Being the largest hospital in the North East, TADH has over 100, 000 patients.
