News Connecting Link funds SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Friday, Jan. 30th, 2015 Over half a million dollars is going towards the Connecting Link this year. City Engineer Luc Duval presented to city council this week, asking for approval for the 2015 roads and fleet program. In total, the roads program would have a budget of over $7M. Seven-hundred thousand of that is for the Connecting Link. The Connecting Link is 21 kilometres of 101. The provincial government stopped funding the upkeep, so it now falls on the municipality.
