The price of eating well is constantly on the rise, prompting the Timmins Anti-Hunger Coalition to help out.
In partnership with the Porcupine Health Unit, there is going to be a couponing workshop happening tonight, to teach shoppers how to save money.
Victoria Hall, a dietician from the Health Unit, says the cost of food in our area is above the provincial average.
She says a family of four spends $208.73 on groceries per week. The provincial average is $195.40, which is $13.33 more.
The couponing event is happening tonight at the Health Unit. Tickets are 10-dollars, or you can donate any amount of money you feel is reasonable.
