Timmins’ homeless shelter, Living Space is holding a fundraiser on the afternoon of Saturday, February 23rd at Full Beard Brewing on Wilson Avenue.
Executive director Jason Sereda says it’s being organized primarily by the band Johnson’s Creek.
“So we’ll have a few performances by Johnson’s Creek and some other musicians from town,” he says, “a silent auction and some other fun activities going on at Full Beard.”
“And it’s also the Coldest Night of the Year activities the same evening. So we’ll be cross-promoting that even and encouraging people to get out and walk and raise awareness about hunger issues in our community.”
The Living Space event at Full Beard runs from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. 93.1 Moose FM and My Timmins Now Dot Com are proud sponsors.
