A total of135 years of service as firefighters was honoured Feb. 5 at the Timmins City Council meeting.
Deputy chief Ellard Beaven and Mayor George Pirie presented long service awards for 30 years of service to Brian Nankervis and Dan Rochon . Similar medals for 25 years of service were presented to Rock Roy, Victor Helin and Jamie Costello.
