Aleisha Block will spend three years behind bars. The sentence came out this morning for the 27 year old who pled guilty to manslaughter. The total sentence is five years, but she has already served two. Block, originally from Kirkland Lake, stabbed fiancee Christopher Deighton (day-ton) at their home in Timmins in 2012.

The 27 year old who pled guilty to manslaughter is back in court Friday for sentencing. Kirkland Lake native Aleisha Block stabbed her fiancee Christopher Deighton after a night out of drinking. She was living with Deighton in Timmins at the time. Block is looking at up to five years in jail, less the two she’s already served. A final decision is expected Friday.
