Resolute Forest Products is going to give up their forest license around the Iroquois Falls mill. That’s according to Mayor Michael Shea, who told the Daily Press that it is going to happen sometime in the near future. Giving up their forest license means the company would no longer control the wood fibre that was used to keep the mill going. This will give Iroquois Falls the hope to rebuild after the closure.
