Trying to cross a busy intersection when the “don’t walk” signal was on… led to a nine-year-old boy being hit by an SUV in Schumacher late yesterday afternoon.
Timmins Police investigators say the boy was with two others when he walked out into traffic at Schumacher Drive and McIntyre Road. The SUV driver didn’t have time to stop before his vehicle made contact with the boy, who only suffered minor injuries.
Police want to talk to witnesses as they continue their investigation.
