News Date set for Gauthier’s hearing SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Wednesday, Dec. 31st, 2014 The date has been set for the Police Chief’s hearing. Chief John Gauthier is facing allegations that he withdrew two tickets given to a city councillor at the time. Gauthier will be in front of the Ontario Civilian Police Commission over a span of four days, starting on March 30th. Gauthier sent out a press release earlier this month, saying he would not comment on the allegations, and it is business as usual for the Timmins Police.
