Bisson wants investigation into bribery allegations

The MPP for Timmins-James Bay is trying to avoid a repeat of deleted e-mails stemming from the gas plant scandal in Southern Ontario.

Gilles Bisson wants Elections Ontario to seize the premier’s hard-drive and those from other high-ranking officials after a bribe attempt in Sudbury.

Bisson is telling Elections Ontario to get a court order before e-mails are deleted.

Liberal candidate Andrew Olivier claims he was offered a job or appointment if he let another Liberal run in a Sudbury by-election.

Premier Kathleen Wynne denies the allegation.

Bisson says investigators can put the issue to rest by examining e-mails before they’re deleted them.
