UPDATE – 3:01pm:

O’Gorman High School remains on lock down.

We’ve received word that the lock down started because of a threat made towards the school on social media. Once the school officials were made aware of the threat they became concerned for the safety of the students and faculty and immediately initiated a lock down and contacted the Timmins Police Service.

Two young people have been arrested. Thankfully nobody was injured during the incident.

While the situation has been contained, the school remains on lock down while police continue their investigation.
