Court dates have been pushed back.
Rick Dubeau was in assignment court this morning for charges of corruption of a municipal office and breach of trust by a public officer for allegedly offering to act in a preferential manner to Goldcorp in his role as a city councillor in exchange for the company buying his home at a premium.
Lawyers say discussions are ongoing and more time is needed.
His court hearings have been pushed back to the next assignment court date on November 7th.
