Charlie Angus is the latest to speak out against the unspent FedNor funds in the North. The MP for Timmins-James Bay is blasting the conservatives for allowing almost $11 million to go unused. Angus says the money was approved by parliament, and accounted for in the federal budget. He says the Minister of Natural Resources, Greg Rickford, has chosen to send it back to the treasury instead of putting the money into growing this region.
