News Pharmacology students can now co-op in the North SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Monday, Nov. 24th, 2014 A new program might see more pharmacology students end up in Northern Ontario. It’s because students studying pharmacology at the University of Waterloo will be able to do co-ops in the north. The arrangement is the result of the university signing an agreement with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. The dean of the medical school, Doctor Roger Strasser, hopes some of the students practice in the north as a result of their co-op experience.
