Timmins is in the top 200 places to live in Canada according to MoneySense.
The website has released its yearly report in the best places to live in the country based on things like taxes, quality of life and amenities. This year Timmins ranked 155 out of 415 cities on the list. Mayor Steve Black says this is up 70 spots from last year yer which is great to see.
Black says when you break the list down even further, Timmins ranked 66 out of 150 cities in Ontario. He says you can also narrow down the search even further when you use the website’s filters. He says in terms of low takes, Timmins fell into spot 59 out of 150 in the province.
Black says you can never take these lists too seriously, but it is a nice confident boost to see Timmins climbing in the standings.
