A singer with a little known Timmins connection jammed on the Rock on the River stage.
Winner of Episode one of the TV show The Launch Logan Staats started his summer tour rocking out on stage Friday night. Staats was excited to perform in the home town of his TV show vocal coach Shania Twain. He says he was nervous working with her because Shania was his first ever crush, but in the end it was an amazing experience.
Staats says since the show has ended, he tries to stay in touch with Shania as mush as possible.
He says playing in her home town was a little surreal. Staats adds he is excited to see where things go from here, hopefully with a little help from Timmins’ country queen.
