The 2013 Legion Poppy Campaign has donated five thousand dollars to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation. The funds will go into patient care and new equipment for the hospital. Janna Cook, Executive Director of the Timmins Hospital Foundation, says the improvements they have been able to make in obtaining state-of-the-art medical equipment in North-eastern Ontario would not have been possible without the Legion.
