Two Charities Will Benefit from ROTR 2018

Two local charities will be benefiting from this year’s Rock on the River concerts.

Project Love and The Timmins Family Counselling Centre will be splitting the profits on this year’s child admission fee. The Timmins Festival and Events Committee says kids under 10 can get into the concerts for free with a cash donation to the local non-profits. The final total of donations will be split between the two organizations.

Project Love and The Timmins Family Counselling Centre will be set up in the park throughout the festival weekend talking about what they do in the community. Project Love will be set up on the Friday and Timmins Family Counselling Centre will be on the grounds on the Saturday.

Rock on the River takes place on July 27th and 28th at Participark. This year’s festival features Billy Talent, Walk Off the Earth, Death From Above and Scott Helman. Tickets are available online.
