More names have been added to this fall’s municipal election nomination list.
Four more people are adding their names to the ballot for councillor and school trustee positions. Nicole Arcand and Langis Dion are looking for trustee positions. Pat Bamford has put his name in for Ward Four and John Ivanovs for the Ward Five seat. Other nominees include:
- John Curley – Ward Four
- Bob Brush – Trustee
- Rock Whissell – Ward One
- Veronica Farrell – Ward One
- Alex Szczebonski – Ward Five
- Liliane Francis – Trustee
- Cory Robin – Ward Five
- Jason Sereda – Ward Five
Steve Black is the only one vying for mayor.
Nominations close on July 27th and you will be hitting the polling stations on October 22nd.
