News TPS is warning students away from popular social media site SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Friday, Nov. 14th, 2014 The Timmins Police are warning students away from the popular website ask-dot-f-m. It is a question and answer site that allows anonymous posting. The Police say they have been receiving reports of students being bullied through the site. TPS Constable Rick Lemieux says unfortunately in an anonymous format, these messages can often be hurtful or mean, and since we can’t control what is posted on the site, our advice to young people is simply not to use it. Parents are being reminded to speak with their kids about social media responsibility.
