Charlie Angus has been given the 2018 “Voice for the Voiceless” Award by the Anatolia Muslim Centre in Mississauga. Angus says the award was given to him because of his work for speaking up on issues in Ottawa like better education and suicide prevention for Indigenous youth and palliative care. //www.mytimminsnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/charlie-award-1.mp3 Angus says he was honoured to be given this award at an interfaith dinner that included representatives from the Christian, Jewish and Hindu communities.
