You are now able to vote for the next Timmins Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
The chamber says ballots are now open for members to vote for this year’s board. The board helps the chamber shape policies about business in Timmins, which chamber staff then take to higher levels of government. Manager of Policy Nick Stewart says there are a large amount of candidates this year with 15 people running for six spots.
Stewart says about 1,030 members have been sent a notification to go online and vote.
Voting is open until July 10th and the new board could be named within the week of July 16th.
