A Timmins man is in jail after scaling backyard fences.
The Timmins Police Service says on Tuesday afternoon officers were called to the cities south end because a suspicious man was scaling backyard fences. Police say there was also a break-in at an apartment in the area where a gaming system was stolen.
TPS says a 28-year-old man was arrested without incident and the gaming system was recovered. The man is facing four charges including:
- break and enter
- possession of property
- mischief under $5,000
- failing to comply with probation order
He is in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
