Uncategorized NDP hire former Ontario NDP leader to advance Ring of Fire SHARE ON: Rocco Frangione, contributor, Friday, Nov. 7th, 2014 Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus says the NDP are bringing in a heavyweight to move the Ring of Fire forward. He’s former Ontario NDP leader Howard Hampton and he’ll become the party’s senior advisor for the project. Angus says as a northerner, Hampton understands the north and Queen’s Park and knows how to get things done. Angus says Hampton is being brought on board because the Ring of Fire is stalled by federal and provincial government inaction. What he doesn’t say is what role Hampton will play as senior advisor.
