The Kirkland Lake OPP is reminding parents to make sure their kids are safe on the internet. They say almost 95-percent of kids in Canada use the internet for school, games, and social networking. Along with that, comes the potential for cyber bullying and online threats. Keep an eye on the sites your kids visit, unplug webcams when not being used, and don’t let them use a chatroom with strangers. They also say to remind your kids not to give out passwords, limit the amount of time spent online, and make sure all games are age appropriate
