Next week is Carbon Monoxide week. The goal of the week is to show where CO alarms should be installed, and how to maintain and replace them. Ontario has a new law that mandates alarms are required to be replaced within the time frame given by the manufacturer. Timmins Fire Chief Mike Pintar says safety factors are where an alarm is installed, the age of the alarm, and whether or not it has been regularly tested.
