The federal New Democrat for Timmins-James Bay says the feds are using the CRA to go after law-abiding people and ignoring tax cheats. Charlie Angus says a bird watching club in Southern Ontario was told by CRA to keep its partisan activities in check or risk being audited. Angus says the club got the CRA warning just days after it complained to two cabinet ministers about the effect government-approved chemicals were having on bee hives. The MP says this is another example of the Harper Tories trying to intimidate anyone who doesn’t agree with their policies.
