Fire investigation officers are looking into a fire at the Grandview Hotel in Schumacher.
The Timmins Fire Department says crews were called out to the hotel on Father Costello Drive at 4:23am last night. Firefighters say there is extensive smoke, fire and water damage to the building, but it did not spread to any surrounding structures.
At the time of the fire, there was one tenant in the building who escaped unhurt.
The fire department says there were 30 crew members on scene between the Timmins, Schumacher and South Porcupine stations.
The investigation is still ongoing.
