A lot of rain this week is causing the city to issue a high water alert for the Mattagami River. There has been a sharp increase in stream flows so Dam storages are being adjusted to accommodate. However the water level may continue to rise. Be sure to move anything that is unsecured, like boats, docks and gazebos to higher ground.
