There’s no shortage of events in Timmins during the Family Day weekend next week. The Amazing Race Week which promotes healthy activities for young people, kicks things off. All next week Timmins features an exhibit on minerals including how some of them can be deadly. Many events are planned for Family Day February 19th and that includes the annual Fishing Derby on Porcupine Lake and free skating at the Archie Dillon Sportsplex.
